Thao Nguyen – MSc, PhD, PGCHE, FHEA is Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at Nottingham Trent University. Before joining academia, Thao had worked 4 years in the banking sector as the Head of International Settlement Department. He completed a PhD in Finance in 2012 in London (Viva without correction). Thao’s research focuses on theoretical and empirical issues of bank/firm competition, efficiency, risk management and climate change. He has published in ABS 3* journals. Thao is the Co-Chair for IFMB 2024 conference (Contemporary Issues in Financial Markets and Banking). Thao is a visiting professor at Ipag Business School, Paris, France; Stockholm Business School, Stockholm, Sweden; and Universidad Loyola Andalucia, Seville, Spain.
