On March 8, 2022, the Journal of Information and Communication (Ministry of Information and Communications) signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with The Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE) in the field of information and communication. Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam, representative of the State Committee on Overseas Vietnamese attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.

Accordingly, the two sides will cooperate to develop the contents of criticism, comments and assessments on strategies, policies and institutions in the fields of telecommunications; modernization and development of the postal sector; digital transformation (CDS); digital society, digital economy, e-government, digital government; cyber information security; IT industry; Modernize the press and the media.

According to the cooperation minutes, cooperation activities will be carried out in the form of: inviting AVSE Global scientists to participate in writing articles or introducing articles to the Journal of RESEARCH, Application and Development of IT and Communication (Journal of Science – https://ictmag.vn/ict) and TT&TT Journal (https://ictvietnam.vn/tap-chi-online.htm); Electronic magazines (https://ictvietnam.vn); development strategy consultancy for TT&TT Magazine; participate in specific thematic conferences/seminars; cooperation in activities: organizing competitions/projects/conferences/seminars specialized in IT and communication and building a network of ICT experts.

Deputy Minister Phan Tam: The cooperation between TT&TT Magazine and AVSE to contribute to the development of the TT&T sector and the country

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam affirmed that Vietnam is facing a breakthrough opportunity for development and the Ministry of Information and Communications is being assigned to lead the company, innovate with digital technology for the development of the country. The cooperation between TT&TT Magazine, the mouthpiece, the forum of TT&TT managers, science and technology (SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY) and AVSE to seize opportunities, share knowledge, innovation of humanity, of vietnamese experts around the globe, contribute to the development of the TT&T sector and the country.

The Deputy Minister also said that Vietnam is implementing all-people, comprehensive, all people must know about cds, digital skills, so with the participation of AVSE experts, the magazine’s publications will propagate more and deeper about the cds, digital skills and lessons, Good experience of the countries of the world.

According to the Deputy Minister, the two sides should continue to work, make positive contributions and take concrete actions to share and disseminate information on digital technology, digital skills, IT and communication.

Speaking at the ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of TT&TT Magazine Nguyen Van Ba said that the cooperation is the result of the continuous efforts and work between TT&TT Magazine and AVSE in recent months.

TT&TT magazine has a process of more than 60 years of establishment and development, is a forum and a bridge to connect the elite of science and technology, technology, digital technology of mankind, of Vietnamese scientists and experts abroad and at home. Accordingly, the Magazine wishes to receive help from AVSE’s experts to contribute and consult for policies and strategies for TT&TT development.

The journal also expects AVSE members to contribute in-depth articles on ICT science and introduce the scientific research works of domestic scientists abroad.

Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Ba emphasized that the signing of the cooperation is an important milestone for the two sides to promote cooperation and hopes that experts consider TT&TT Magazine as a destination, sticking together to exchange, share and develop and contribute to the TT&T industry, for the country.

Nguyen Duc Khuong, Chairman of AVSE, said that AVSE has received the attention of the Ministry of Information and Communications, had the opportunity to work with a number of agencies of the Ministry of Information and Communications to contribute opinions on the country’s policies and roadmap.

Vietnamese experts abroad are very interested, eager to share and contribute to the development of the country by practical work. Through cooperation with TT&TT Magazine, AVSE will share stories, experiences or by articles, specific and practical information, about policies, strategies, digital technology, science and technology, communication … contribute to the development of the TT&T industry and the country.
