AVSE GLOBAL CHAIRMAN SHARES ABOUT THE PRACTICE AND VISION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATION IN VIETNAM
During the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2023 (VIIE 2023) held from October 28 to November 1, Professor Nguyen Duc Khuong had a discussion with the Voice of Vietnam about the crucial focus of growth, which is innovation. According to the Professor, in recent years, Vietnam has made significant strides in activities related to innovation. The majority of enterprises have been building the development strategy of the conglomerate, with innovation as the internal development focus. Over the past period, the Professor noted that the economic situation in Vietnam has undergone positive transformations through innovative activities. An example is the very convenient financial-banking services that have helped save time for people when conducting transactions.
Moving on to a deeper discussion about the concerns of businesses, the Professor pointed out that what businesses need is a business environment that encourages innovation and comprehensive macro policies. Based on international experience, the Professor identified two crucial points that countries have implemented. First is making innovation policies a central focus and driving force for economic development. Second is the methods and solutions to support innovation.
In an economy for innovation to truly become a driving force for development, close collaboration is needed among the State, Enterprises, Universities, and Research Institutions.
